The Not So Exact Science Of CBD Oil Dosage
CBD is unlike other health and wellness aids in that the dosage is very individual.
As a responsible CBD Oil company, Our recommended dosage is merely a reference, not a specific guideline.
The interesting thing about CBD is that many of our clients who deal with chronic pain and anxiety use CBD and increase their CBD intake during a “flare-up” of pain or anxiety. Clients report benefits from increasing the dosage during a flare-up and then returning to their usual daily dosage when the flare-up subsides.
Some of our clients prefer to increase the strength of their tincture to increase the beneficial effects.
There are no scientific or medical guidelines for CBD dosage at this time but we recommend keeping a record of your dosage so you will know how much CBD you will need to experience benefits.
Bloem offers both full-spectrum and isolate CBD tinctures.
To Isolate or not to Isolate
We advise our clients to utilize isolate CBD tincture if they are required to take drug tests for professional reasons. Our full spectrum tincture contains less than .03% full-spectrum cannabis whereas the isolate is just that, purified and isolated cannabidiol. For additional information on CBD and other cannabis products, we recommend you visit Project CBD, a non-profit educational news service that does not sell or distribute any CBD/cannabis products.
Legal Victories For CBD Oil
On June 25, 2018, the FDA approved the purified form of cannabis, (aka CBD), specifically to treat seizures. “This product approval demonstrates that advancing sound scientific research to investigate ingredients derived from marijuana can lead to important therapies. This new treatment provides new options for patients.”

It is important to note that the FDA does not currently provide guidelines for the dosage of CBD.
Again, we recommend that you start with the recommended dosage outlined in the chart below and increase the dosage (and/or strength of tincture) over time.
As with any supplement or health aid, be sure to talk to your doctor about possible drug interactions and keep a record of your dosage so you know how much (and at what strength) provides optimum benefits for you. Contact us today for more specific dosing advice for your individual situation.
